My favourite movie

Hi teacher and classmates this week I talk about one of my favorite movies.  I like to watch movies for this reason I have a list with my favorites (this is not literal) but in this opportunity I will like tell you about Fight Club. This movie was directed for David Fincher and starred in for Edward Norton, Brad Pitt y Helena Bonham Carter. The movie Fight Club is based in the book of the same name which was writer for Chuck Palahniuk.  This movie was and is  very controversial, but actually  has become in a cult film

The movie narrates the story of men who have a monotonous and depressing life. This men (narrator) start to attend a different self-help group; self- help group of people with cancer, alcoholics Anonymous, etc. Despite this was not an alcoholic and he haven´t cancer. In this self- help groups he knows Marla Singer who too assisted to his groups without being sick. Parallel he knows   Tyler Durden. The narrator with Tyler forms a "fight club", in this club participated man who fight only for fight, doesn´t a prize or something like.  The narrator says:

“When the fight ended had not solved anything. But nothing mattered. Then we all felt saved”

Well I won’t tell you more  if  you have not seen it yet.  I only can say that is a movie very interesting and has many details that do a great movie!

My future job

I study sociology because I want to be investigating. I don’t care about the theory or the academy. In my future job I want to study topics that I consider important and I am passionate about. I like sociology of gender, sociology of     health and sociology of education.  I imagine doing studies respect these topics. I hope my investigations were useful for the people and permit good politics for the population. I definitely want to work outdoors; I don’t want to be shut in the office. I know that to do an investigation you must spend time in an office but I don’t want to spend all time in an office. I want to meet the people, talk with them, that be more than dates and numbers. I like very much travel so I hope I can travel very much. I want to visit many countries, I interest me Latin America that area to develop me how professional. I will want graduate studies in Brazil or Mexico.

I will want my major to be related with topics of gender. In this moment I am do an investigation about opinion and valuation of abortion since a perspective of gender it interests me very much. This investigation about abortion is a quantitative study, but I like too the qualitative technics, I hope can use both technics in my future investigations.

“The best concert I’ve been to”.

Hi Teacher and classmates. this week I’ll speak about “The best concert I’ve been to”. Mmm... I think I haven't had the best concert of my life yet, however I going to tell you about two concerts that I have been and that I liked them so much. These concerts were pretty good, but I think that I could go to better regarding with the production of the show and feel of adrenaline. The first was in January. I went with my best friend and her mum to the Gabriela Mistral Museum to see Fernando Milagros. It was amazing! I was really surprised of his big talent. It was an intimate and serene concert. The atmosphere is was pleasant. I believe that he is one of the best artists that I heard in live. 

The Second, also was in the Gabriela Mistral Museum and I also went with my best friend to see Patricio Cáceres . This toccata was very funny because there was a magic show and we spent a really good time. Patricio was very nice and his songs there are harmonic. That's all! enjoy the weekend! I see you!

My favourite music

Hi teacher and classmates this week I will talk us for my favourite music. Well I like very much music but I don´t play any instrument and I don’t consider myself an expert in music, however I love music.  Is difficult to choose one type of music but I decided to talk about Chilean music. For me it is very important recover the importance of our music. Chile has many good artists and we must recognize their talents. The new law about music Chilean who force the radios to play chilean music is very important to know and value our music. Personally my favourites Chilean artists are Kaskivano, Cristóbal Briceño, Manuel García and Fernando Milagros. In Januery I saw Fernando Milagros live and he is amazing. Ahhh and of course “Los prisioneros “ I very much like and admire Violeta Parra she is a very talented singer-songwriter. My parents listened to Violeta Parra when I was a girl so it is a familiar taste.

“The country I would like visit”

Hello teacher and Classmates! How are you? Today I am going to talk about “The country I would like visit” Well it is difficult to me choose one place because I love traveling and I would like to visit so many places and countries. Specially, I’d like to know Italy because it is a very beautiful country. Italy is famous for it's architecture, it's food (I really love Italian food) it's cinema (Cinema paradiso is my favorite movie) and it's literature. The cities and places that I would like visit are: Venecia, Roma, the roman coliseum obviously, Florence, Genoa…. Oh my god I will want to know all of Italy! In addition, in this country we can find museums and many pieces of art. Some of their most well known painters are : Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Andrea Mantegna and Rafael Sanzio. Recently I realized that in Roma and Genoa exhibited artworks centered on the work of Frida Kahlo! It's great!
