My favourite piece of technology

Dear Classmates and teacher: 

Well, actually I don’t like very much the technology. In the holidays I never use the computer and I go the countryside and  in this place there are not  telephone signals. But when I stay in Santiago during classes I need the technology and it’s for me very important the cell phone. The cell phone is an instrument which allows us communicate with a person who is far of you. I don’t remember when I got my cell phone however I reckon that I have the cell phone  since I was 12 years old. I use it every day the cell phone for talk with my parents who live in Coyhaique and for listening music. I like the cell phone because is a useful device because  the cell phone allows you to talk, send messages of text, listening music and connected to Internet. I use principally for talking with my family and friends. If the cell phone wouldn't exist in my life, my life would be very sad due to I could not listen the voice of persons  that I love, my parents and sister, they stay far away from me but fortunately the cell phone exist and my life is great

My favourite singer

Hi classmates and teacher! Today I am going to talk about my favourite artist: Manuel Garcia!

Manuel Garcia is a very talented chilean singer. He was born in March of 1970 in Arica and is one of the most applauded Chileans musicians. Manuel Garcia is also known as "The commander of the Chilean folk”

 He studied teaching in history and geography at the University of Tarapaca then he moved to Santiago to study classic guitar. His career how soloist started in 2005 with an album entitled “Pánico” then his next albums were “Tempera” and “S/T”.

His style of music is a mix of rock and trova. I like this artist because the letters of his songs are very deep and nice. There are many metaphors in his songs and also I like very much the social content of his songs. My favorite song is “Hablar de ti” because in this song he remembers an old love and the goods moments that he spent with this person, the content of this song is very beautiful. Others of my favorite songs are : “La tinta de tus lágrimas” and “La gran capital”.And here it's "Hablar de ti" I hope you enjoy it.

My autobiography

Hi everyone! Mi name is Guisela! I was born on September of 1992 in Chaitén.  Then When I was two years my family and I moved into Coyhaique.  I live with my parents, Orlando and Guisela, my sister Camila and my cousin Carola.

I studied in the school named Mater Dei, since I was in kindergarten then I moved into another school when I was coursing seventh grade.  Then I studied in the Liceo San Felipe Benicio and at the moment I am studying sociology at the University of Chile.

I like listening music, especially I loved Manuel Garcia and Francisca Valenzuela, I like reading too. My favorite writer is Isabel Allende and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends a lot. But the most that I like in the world is laughing.
