My favourite singer

Hi classmates and teacher! Today I am going to talk about my favourite artist: Manuel Garcia!
Manuel Garcia is a very talented chilean singer. He was born in March of 1970 in Arica and is one of the most applauded Chileans musicians. Manuel Garcia is also known as "The commander of the Chilean folk”
He studied teaching in history and geography at the University of Tarapaca then he moved to Santiago to study classic guitar. His career how soloist started in 2005 with an album entitled “Pánico” then his next albums were “Tempera” and “S/T”.
His style of music is a mix of rock and trova. I like this artist because the letters of his songs are very deep and nice. There are many metaphors in his songs and also I like very much the social content of his songs. My favorite song is “Hablar de ti” because in this song he remembers an old love and the goods moments that he spent with this person, the content of this song is very beautiful. Others of my favorite songs are : “La tinta de tus lágrimas” and “La gran capital”.And here it's "Hablar de ti" I hope you enjoy it.

  6. Hi Guisela, great job.

I didn´t know anything about Miguel García before the Festival de Viña, and he is a very interesting new artist. He reminds me of Silvio.

Going back to your post, I´d like to comment on two things:

First, adjectives in English never take "s", so you can´t say "goods", and finally, when you refer to songs, you say "lyrics" not "letters". Can you notice the difference in meaning?

    2 points.

    Paula
